My name is Marco, licensed tourist guide of Genoa. My passion is to organize conversations while walking in my city and its surroundings.
The travelers who choose my Walks&Talks are people who are not satisfied with generic tours or just being passive spectators of the wonders of a city, but love to understand the evolution of a complex and millenary city. They are curious tourists who love to ask questions and interact with those who are telling them about the city, in a mutual cultural exchange.
I like to illustrate the glorious history of Genoa through the incredible stories of wealthy merchants, bankers, nobles, I noticed together with those of simple craftsmen or poor people; people following me can fill immersed in a passion for the city that I’m carrying with me since I was a boy.
All the Walks&Talks that I propose are designed for small groups of people traveling together, so you will participate in a truly personalized private tour. They are also designed to take home not only an exchange of knowledge, curiosities, popular sayings, legends and mysteries, culinary traditions but also stimulating and fun conversations to understand linguistic expressions, gestures, common places and stereotypes.
